After suffering hypertension, there is no obvious symptom in early period
and symptoms vary from people to people.
In early period, there may be no symptom or symptoms are not obvious.
Patients only have a rise in blood pressure after fatigue, mental stress and
mood fluctuation and the blood pressure will return to normal state after rest.
As disease prolongs, the blood pressure will have a obvious and continuous rise
and various symptoms will appear gradually. Then, this condition is called as
chronic hypertension.
Common clinical symptoms of chronic hypertension are headache, dizziness,
attention deficit, memory loss, numbness of limbs, increased nocturia,
palpitation, chest tightness, malaise and others.
When the blood pressure reaches to a certain degree, patients will show
symptoms of severe headache, vomiting, palpitation and dizziness, and even have
unconsciousness and convulsion. This condition belongs to acute hypertension
and hypertensive crisis. In this condition, severe damages and lesions of
heart, brain, kidney and other organs always occur within short period, such as
stroke, heart attack and renal failure.
